Description
Archery is a traditional Indian sport.
Technically it consists of shooting with a bow and arrow at a specific target from 19 to 90 meters distance. It is both a dynamic and static activity.
To perform archery well, the students must reach a level of full quiet and stillness within, which can be compared to meditation.
Archery develops concentration, attention and development of the nervous system, along with breathing coordination and general physical fitness.
